PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated circuit device capable of protecting a terminal at a low cost, an electronic device and a terminal protecting method of the integrated circuit device, etc. SOLUTION: The integrated circuit device includes: an I/O circuit; a terminal electrically connected with the input or output of the I/O circuit; a clamp circuit for making a current flow between the terminal and a power line to which a given clamp voltage is supplied and changing the voltage of the terminal; a voltage detection part for detecting the voltage of the terminal; and a clamp control part for controlling the current flowing to the clamp circuit on the basis of a detected result by the voltage detection part. The clamp control part controls the clamp circuit so that the current may flow between the terminal and the power line on condition that the voltage of the terminal is a given threshold voltage or higher when a protection control signal is at a first level, and also controls the clamp circuit so that the current may not flow between the terminal and the power line when the protection control signal is at a second level.
