It was impossible to transfer the status of a dedicated application of a client terminal to a browser thereof and notify that status to a server. A client terminal (11) comprises: a first application unit (14) for transmitting/receiving data to/from a server (12); and a second application unit (20) for transmitting/receiving data to/from the first application unit. An instruction transmitting unit (22) of the second application unit transmits a user's instruction to the first application unit, and a status holding/transmitting unit (21) of the second application unit also transmits status information about the status of the second application unit to the first application unit. A request generating unit (19) of the first application unit generates, based on the instruction received from the instruction transmitting unit, a request command for the server. A status adding unit (18) adds the status information, received from the status holding/transmitting unit, to the request command. A request transmitting unit (16) transmits, to the server, the request command to which the status information has been added.
