Apparatus (1) for forming stacks (3) of bags (2), preferably paper bags, which can be fed individually, comprising: at least a first transporting arrangement (6), which can receive individual bags, a collecting location (20), to which the bags can be fed by the transporting arrangement and in which a stack of bags can be produced, and a release arrangement (19), by means of which the bags can be released from the transporting arrangement and discharged to the collecting location. There is at least one separating arrangement (23) provided, and this arrangement can be introduced into the collecting location in or above the stack and divides up the stack into a first and a second stack. |
