PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner of a crawler type is provided to remove dust from the fabric of carpet after forcibly raising it. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner of a crawler type is composed of a body and a running unit of a crawler type. The body comprises a motor(6), a suction fan(7), a filter(9), an electrostatic suction unit(1) and an ultrasonic vibrator(2). Non-woven fabric(10) for generating static electricity is attached to the outer surface of the electrostatic suction unit and a cleaning brush(11) is attached to the outer surface of the non-woven fabric. Air purified through the filter along the outer frame of the body is discharged through a duct to form air curtain(5). A sprocket is installed on both ends of the running unit, a plurality of grooves are formed on the sprocket and are connected by a belt.
