LOCKING UNIT OF PUBLIC BICYCLE

PURPOSE: A locking apparatus for a public bicycle is provided to save system cost and to prevent theft by simply locking the wheel axis of a public bicycle. CONSTITUTION: A locking apparatus for a public bicycle comprises an ID block, a pair of locker blocks(20), and a locking bar(30). The ID block is screw to both ends of the wheel axis of the bicycle. The locker block is fixed to the ground and comprises a locking groove(21) and a signal sensor(40). If the ID block is inserted into the locking groove and presses a sensing bar(41), the signal sensor senses the pressure of the sensing bar and operates a locking-bar driving unit(100). If the ID block of the wheel axis is inserted into the locking groove, the sensing bar in the locking groove is pressurized to raise the locking bar and the wheel axis is not separated from the locking groove.
