PURPOSE: A power transmission method and apparatus are provided to ensure a simple structure and prevent the heat transfer from a heater to a driving unit by employing magnetism for power transmission and separating the heater from the driving unit. CONSTITUTION: A power transmission method is as follows. A motor(2) installed in a driving unit is rotated, and a rotating drive plate(11) installed in a motor shaft is rotated. Permanent magnets(14,14') installed in the rotating drive plate are rotated and separated by a certain interval, and the rotating drive plate and a rotating driven plate(13) installed in a driven shaft are rotated by the magnetism of the permanent magnets. The driven shaft is rotated through the power transmission.
