The steam power plant (1) comprises a turbine (5,9), a condenser (11), a water pipeline system (14,17) and a steam generator (2) for generating steam. The water pipeline system has a pre-heater-arrangement (30) which comprises a pre-heater (31) and a bypass-line (34). The pre-heater-arrangement has a solar-pre-heater which is connected parallel to the pre-heater. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a steam power plant. |
