PURPOSE: A peg for a tarp pole is provided to facilitate the installation of a tarp by preventing the pole of a tarp from falling down without holding. CONSTITUTION: A peg for a tarp pole comprises a pole fixing portion(310), a holder(320), a rudder angle portion(330), and an insertion portion(340). The pole fixing portion is inserted into the inside of the tarp pole and fixes the post on the ground. The holder is projected from the lower outer surface of the pole fixing portion and has larger diameter than that of the pole fixing portion. The rudder angle portion is projected from the upper central portion of the pole fixing portion and has smaller diameter than that of the pole fixing portion. The insertion portion is integrated with the rudder angle portion on the lower portion of the rudder angle portion.
