DYNAMIC FREQUENCY SELECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD BASED ON GENETIC ALGORITHM FOR COGNITIVE RADIO SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A genetic algorithm based dynamic frequency selection system and a method thereof are provided to efficiently allocate communication resources. CONSTITUTION: An RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indication) measurement unit(120) firstly calculates the interference of the signal about the prior user signal. A communication resource allocator(130) controls the intensity of the signal of user based on the prior user signal. The communication resource allocator uses genetic algorithm in one or more frequency band which is searched by a channel selection unit(140). The communication resource allocator allocates the communication resource in order to optimize the communication environment of the prior user.
