EXPANDIBLE FIRE RESISTING MATERIAL

PURPOSE: Expandible refractory paint is provided to ensure excellent thermal insulation due to high foaming magnification by the heat and to prevent the separation of a refractory paint layer by wind pressure. CONSTITUTION: Expandible refractory paint includes a binder resin, flame retardant, blowing agent, expandable graphite, and anti-flying agent which is inorganic materials having a melting point within 100°C based on an expansion temperature. The binder resin is an oily binder resin or aqueous binder resin. The anti-flying agent is selected from the group consisting of boric acid, ammonium borate, thiocyanic acid metal salt and their mixture, having a melting point of 150-300 °C.
