<p>A method for increasing the formability of a magnesium alloy is disclosed. The method for increasing the formability of the magnesium alloy in accordance with the present invention controls a texture of the magnesium alloy by supplying a high energy to a surface of the magnesium alloy by irradiating a laser.</p>
