PURPOSE: A navigation system and a user data setting method are provided to protect personal privacy of a navigation user by recognizing navigation user and automatically setting user data. CONSTITUTION: A navigation system comprises a mobile terminal(1) and a navigation terminal(2). The navigation terminal comprises a blue tooth controller(22), a user data storage(23), a mapping data storage(24), a GPS receiver(25), and navigation controller(21). The blue tooth controller distinguishes a user through the mobile terminal and blue tooth communication. The user data storage stores user data. The mapping data storage offers mapping data. The GPS receiver receives GPS data. The controller indicates the current position using mapping data from the GPS receiver.
