PURPOSE: A rod with a length adjusted by a hand is provided to enable a hand of a user to conveniently adjust the length of the rod and to fix the adjusted length using a movement preventing device. CONSTITUTION: A rod with a length adjusted by a hand comprises a length adjusting device, a movement preventing device, and a moving button. A user adjusts the length of the rod by moving the length adjusting device using a hand. The movement preventing device prevents the length of the rod from being easily moved. The rod can be used for a broom, a dustpan, and a mop.
