<p>A housing, especially for heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) apparatus, has a frame to which panels are fixed to define an enclosure. The frame may have a profile so that the transverse edges of a first panel 2 are located outwardly of the inner skin of an adjacent transversely extending panel 3, 4. Also described is a panel formed of inner and outer skins 2a, 2b connected by a bridge, in which is located a moveable securing element 12 to connect the panel to a frame. A connection system is disclosed that includes housing components with angled edge surfaces which when presented together define an angled recess, a connection element is positioned in the angled recess and secured to each of the housing components (Figs 6-8). Some frame members may include a slot and recess to receive the edges of a sheet that forms the top cover of the housing, which is preferably held in a bowed configuration (Figs 9, 10).</p> |
