PURPOSE: A method for controlling a local area wireless communication network handoff processing system is provided to process handoff between wireless communication bases. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication base(101) receives a handoff signal from a wireless communication terminal(200). A second wireless communication base(102) assigns communication channels. A second wireless communication base transmits the port information for communication channel to the first wireless communication base using the extracted first network address. The first wireless communication base transmits the extracted second network address and the port information for communication channel to an opponent terminal(300).
