PURPOSE: A recording device is provided to accurately perform wiping on a nozzle plane in which a plurality of nozzle rows is formed. CONSTITUTION: A recording device comprises a record head(2) and a wiper unit. The wiper unit is composed to wipe the nozzle plane in horizontal direction of nozzle plane. The wiper unit includes a first wiper blade(12a) and a second wiper blade(13a). The first wiper blade is tilted on the direction which meets the wiping direction at a right angle. The second wiper blade is tilted on the direction which meets the wiping direction at a right angle. |
