PURPOSE: A damper for a glove box is provided to open a glove box in uniform speed by gradually increasing the damping force of a damper according to the opening angle of a glove box. CONSTITUTION: A damper for a glove box comprises a cylinder unit(110) and a rod unit(120). The cylinder unit has an insertion hole(114). The rod unit is inserted into the insertion hole and moves. The rod unit adheres closely to an inner wall(115) of the cylinder unit. The insertion hole gradually becomes narrower toward the end part of the cylinder part.
