PURPOSE: A thermal mat is provided to widely secure an open space of the mat main body in order to secure user's comfort. CONSTITUTION: A thermal mat comprises: a main body of a mat which emits heat and far infrared ray as current is applied; a cover which is installed on the top of the mat main body, opens and closes the mat main body, and emits heat and far infrared ray; a rack gear part(33) installed at the inner side of the cover; a motor(11) which is cross-coupled with the rack gear part and has a driving gear rotating the cover; and a transmission gear transferring the torque of the driving gear to the rack gear part.
