PURPOSE: An illumination device for a crosswalk is provided to improve electrical safety by preventing the infiltration of the moisture and to prevent deformation or damage due to running shock or load of vehicles. CONSTITUTION: An illumination device for a crosswalk comprises an illumination unit(1) and a controller. The illumination unit is embedded and installed in a road(R) in which a crosswalk is installed. The controller controls the illumination pattern of the illumination unit by receiving signals from a traffic signal(60).
