PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to prevent a display quality fall by a foreign material and a light source generation by not enabling a external foreign material to flow inside the liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel, a backlight unit, a top case(100), and a plurality of protective pad(201). The backlight unit provides light to the liquid display panel by being arranged to lower part of the liquid crystal display panel. The top case is combined with the backlight unit and covers an edge of upper surface of the liquid crystal panel. The protective pad is arranged on a lower surface of the top case to correspond to the upper surface edge of the liquid crystal display panel by being dividing into a plurality of numbers.
