PURPOSE: A print controlling apparatus and a method for controlling print are provided to conveniently manage plural documents by synthesizing the documents written in various application programs in one XPS file. CONSTITUTION: A user interface(120) selects the documents stored in a storage unit(130), and an XPS file converter(141) converts the selected documents into XPS(XML Paper Specification) file. An XPS file processor(142) synthesizes the converted XPS files in one XPS file format. A communication interface(110) transfers the synthesized XPS file to an image forming apparatus. The storage unit stores the synthesized XPS file.
