PURPOSE: A cooking appliance is provided to increase cooking efficiency depending on the kind of food since the combustion of mixed gas at outer and inner ports is selectively made depending on the size of a container. CONSTITUTION: A cooking appliance comprises a cabinet and one or more burner assemblies. The burner assemblies are held in the cabinet, comprise top plates, inner ports, outer ports, one or more guides, and combustion mats. The inner port is provided with the mixed gas of gas and air. The outer port is installed on the outer side of the inner port and is provided with the mixed gas of gas and air. The guides are installed on the inner port. The guides are installed on the flow path of the mixed gas and change the flow direction of the mixed gas. The mixed gas supplied to the inner and outer ports are burnt on the combustion mat.
