PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for displaying exposure information using an information display area are provided to efficiently transfer various information around a path by applying various information arrangement references to one information. CONSTITUTION: In a method and apparatus for displaying exposure information using an information display area, an information display area is determined in a map screen(S110). The designated information display area is searched in a route to be supplied to a user(S120). Exposure information exposed to neighboring geographic data is collected(S130). An information display area for displaying the exposure information is determined(S140). The exposure information is displayed on a predetermined display area(S150).
