NON-EXCAVATION TYPE WATER PIPE REPLACING METHOD AND APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A non-excavation type water pipe replacing method and an apparatus thereof are provided to enable the smooth insertion of a new drain pipe into an existing drain pipe since the diameter of the drain pipe is extended. CONSTITUTION: A non-excavation type water pipe replacing method comprises following steps. The internal deformation state of a drain pipe(10) is inspected by a CCD(Charge Coupled Device) camera. A tube expander(20) is put into the inside of the drain pipe. A ground around a deformed part(12) is softened. A cutting unit is put into the inner side of the drain pipe. The cutting unit cuts out multiple spots of the drain pipe in a longitudinal direction. The diameter of the drain pipe is expanded to the inner side of the drain pipe.
