PURPOSE: An elongating device for a bonding wire is provided to reduce the failure rate of the bonding wire by preventing the vibration of the bonding wire. CONSTITUTION: A dice holder(110) is installed in an elongating bath(100). The dice holder includes at least one die(115). A pair of capstans(120) are arranged on both sides of the dice holder. The pair of capstans supply drawing force to a bonding wire(W). A spray unit(130) sprays elongating solutions to the bonding wire.
