THE UPLINK SLEEP MODE CONTROL METHOD FOR SAVING POWER OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An uplink method for controlling a sleep mode for saving the power is provided to transit an uplink to a sleep mode by checking whether an uplink exists or not through the uplink map analysis of a DCD(Downlink Channel Descriptor). CONSTITUTION: Synchronization information is detected from a signal of a downlink period(401). Uplink map is detected from a DCD message(402). The detected uplink map is analyzed. The upward signal presence is anticipated(403). The sleep mode of uplink is controlled based on the upward signal presence foreseen outcome(404~406).
