PURPOSE: An electric bicycle driven with a self-generator is provided to produce electricity through pedaling and supply the electricity to an electric motor for driving the bicycle. CONSTITUTION: An electric bicycle driven with a self-generator comprises a generator(21), a pivot(23), a rotating rod(24), and an electric motor(27). The generator is installed to be driven with the feet of a rider sitting on a saddle and produces electric current on a frame(20). One end of the rotating rod is connected to the pivot of the generator and the other end is coupled with a pedal to rotate the rotating rod. The electric motor is installed in the frame to rotate bicycle wheels with the electric current from the generator and connected to a reduction gear. |
