MARKING DEVICE FOR SECTION SHAPE STEEL

PURPOSE: A marking device for section shape steels is provided to reduce marking work time and prevent wrong marking of identification information. CONSTITUTION: A marking device for section shape steels comprises a trolley unit, a distance measuring unit, a marking unit, and a controller. The trolley unit moves along the longitudinal direction of the section shape steel. The distance measuring unit measures the translation distance of the trolley unit. The marking unit is coupled with the trolley unit. The marking unit marks one between two sides(10a,10b) adjacent to each other. The controller comprises a wireless communications unit and an input unit. The wireless communications unit receives identifying information. The operating information is inputted through the input unit. The trolley unit comprises a base, multiple wheels, and a driving unit. The distance measuring unit, the marking unit, and the controller are installed in the base. The multiple wheels contact the adjacent two sides of the section shape steel. The driving unit operates the multiple wheels.
