PURPOSE: A method for producing herbicide-resistant lily is provided to save herbicidal labor and cost. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing herbicide-resistant lily comprises: a step of inducing embryonic callus by culturing cut lily in an MS solid medium containing picloram; a step of performing particle bombardment of a recombinant vector containing a herbicide resistant gene into a lily callus and co-culturing; a step of selecting the co-cultured plant cells in a selection medium containing herbicide for 12-16 weeks; and a step of redifferentiating the selected lily callus. The MS solid medium contains 0.5-2 mg/L, 4-6% of sucrose, 0.2-1 g/L of casein, and 0.3-0.5% gelrite.
