PURPOSE: A device and method thereof of reproducing a multi sound channel content by using DNLA are provided to individually reproduce a channel comprising a plurality of terminals existing in adjacent as content. CONSTITUTION: A content playback unit(120) checks information about a channel comprising a multi sound channel content. The content playback unit selects a player reproducing each channel. The content playback unit transmits reproduction information with the selected player in order to reproduce a corresponding channel. The content playback unit receives information about the channel comprising content from a server player. The content playback unit checks the information about the channel.
