PURPOSE: An anti-dandruff composition containing bispyrithion is provided to ensure anti-dandruff efficiency and to reduce zinc pyrithione content. CONSTITUTION: An anti-dandruff composition contains bispyrithion as an active ingredient. The composition further contains zinc pyrithione. The content of bispyrithion is 0.01-10.0 weight%. The composition has anti-dandruff activity against Malassezia furfur, Malassezia globosa, or Malassezia restricta. The composition for scalp or hair care contains the composition containing pyrithione. The composition for scalp or hair care is manufactured in the form of shampoo, rinse, treatment, essence, ample, wax, gel, spray, glaze, or hair lotion.
