METAL ELECTRODE DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A metal electrode dye solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to easily absorb a photosensitive dye on a TiO2 optical electrode layer and pass an electrolyte by forming a spacer. CONSTITUTION: A transparent substrate is comprised of a front transparent substrate(111) and a rear transparent substrate. A TiO2 optical electrode layer(120) is formed on the front transparent substrate. A porous metal electrode layer(130) is formed on the TiO2 optical electrode layer. A transparent conductive layer is formed on the rear transparent substrate. A metal thin film catalyst electrode layer is formed on the transparent conductive layer. A spacer forms a space for inputting an electrolyte between the front transparent substrate and the rear transparent substrate.
