In order to manufacture a discharging roller (163) which discharges a recording medium from a recording apparatus, there are a first die (210) formed with a first recess (201) extending in an axial direction of a shaft portion (163a) of the discharging roller, and a second die (220) formed with a second recess (202) extending in the axial direction. The first die and the second die are combined such that the first recess (201) and the second recess (202) face to form a continuous cavity. Synthetic resin is injected into the cavity to mold a bore portion (163c) of the shaft portion by using the gas injection moulding method.
