A heat-sensitive material has a substrate and a heat-sensitive recording layer containing color formers and color acceptors. The color acceptors are mixture of N-(p-toluene sulfonyl)-N'-3-(p-toluene sulfonyl-oxy-phenyl)-urea and a urea-urethane compound in the ratio of (1: greater than 1) to (1:3) based on gram equivalent weight percentage. A heat-sensitive material has a substrate and a heat-sensitive recording layer containing color formers and color acceptors. The color acceptors are mixture of N-(p-toluene sulfonyl)-N'-3-(p-toluene sulfonyl-oxy-phenyl)-urea and a urea-urethane compound in the ratio of (1: greater than 1) to (1:3) based on gram equivalent weight percentage. The color formers are selected from 3-diethylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran, 3-dibutylamino-6-methyl-7-a nilinofluoran, 3-(N-methyl-N-propyl)amino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran, 3-(N-ethyl-N-isoamyl)amino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran, 3-(N-methyl-N-cyclohexyl)amino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran, 3-(N-ethyl-N-tolyl)amino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran and 3-(N-ethyl-N-tetrahydrofuryl)amino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran. |
