A pair of bolting mechanisms is provided behind each of the front and back covers (3,4) of a drawer (2). Each mechanism has a retainer (10) secured with a bolt transversely adjustable relative to the drawer reciprocating direction. In operation, the bolt successively engages the cams (8,9) on the drawer and furniture sides, enabling the cams to steer relative to each other and allow the drawer to be pulled out or pushed back from either of opposing sides of the furniture. |
