PURPOSE: A terminal device for controlling transmit power in a wireless communication system is provided to additionally reduce a maximum power of a terminal by applying an A-MPR suitable for the situation. CONSTITUTION: A receiving module(810) receives general data and control information from a terminal or other base station. A processor(820) broadcasts system information for a traffic power control of a terminal inside a cell of the base station. A transmission power setting module(840) sets a value reflecting A- MPR(Additive-Maximum Power Reduction) to Pemax* to p-max field for a release 8 terminal in SIB type1. A transmission module(830) broadcasts all kinds of SIBs for the terminal transmission power.
