PURPOSE: A complex type touch screen device is provided to exactly receive a single or a multi touch input through simultaneous application of an infrared ray method and a touch sensing method of a pressure type or a static capacity method. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(109) controls a scan of a total area of a display unit. if a touched coordinate value is one in a scanned result, the control unit outputs an output coordinate of a pressure-type control unit(110). If the touched coordinated is over two, the control unit calculates a multi touch value. When a light emitting element of a first light emitting element unit(150) is successively switched on, the control unit successively switches a light receiving element of a first light receiving element unit(120) on.
