Subject: a pair of trays destined for the mechanical sowing or transplantation of plants. Constitution: a system composed of a pair of trays made of thermally-configurated plastic where the supportbase is an inverted negative copy of the overlying disk which copy can be used in a mechanical plant sowing or transplantation line where nowadays trays of inflated polystyrene are utilised with no modifications. Advantages: combination of advantages derived from the thermally-configurated plastic trays with the rigidity and stability properties of the inflated polysterene trays; that is to say that damage of plants due to the anchoring of roots at the walls of the tray is obviated and the plant extraction process facilitated; little volume for storage and transport; completely recyclable components; manufacture of trays of any dimension and with whatever number of pots for the sowing or transplantation of plants.
