METHOD FOR THE CONNECTION OF STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS DESTINED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FOREST FIRE-EXTINGUISHING WATER TANKS

Subject: new method of connection of structural elements 4 manufactured of metal lamellae interconnected to form a polygonal wall 5 of one forest fire-extinguishing water tank 6 or of whatever water tank suited -inter alia- for industrial and agricultural use. Constitution: the structural elements 4 constituting the wall 5 of the water tank 6 are manufactured of metal lamellae and bear two V-type longitudinal configurating edges 8 confined by an one-piece or a part-placed metal joint 9 and a simple or composite wedge 12 expanding the successively-positioned structural elements 4 in opposite directions and confining the longitudinal configurations 8, in a steady manner, inside the metal joints 9 bearing a hole 10 or holes wherein reinforcing or other-use accessories 13 can be assembled at one or several heights. Advantages: little number of assembled accessories, minimization of works needed for the preparation of the installation site presenting hypsometric differences; no need of previous levelling works.
