The disclosed total tibia-and-acetabulum arthroplasty consists of the tibial prosthesis A, the acetabulum prosthesis B1 or B2 and the plastic part &Ggr; characterised by the existence of the tooth 5 insertable into the housing 8 of the acetabulum prosthesis B1,B2 for averting thus any lateral instability and pivoting of the tibia-and-acetabulum joint in the front plane. At the same time it concentrates and distributes the forces of the whole horizontal joint surface between the plastic part &Ggr; and the top of the acetabulum. The stabilization of the tibial prosthesis on the tibia becomes stronger via secondary stabilizing means (screws) 3. The advantage of the invention is that it creates one more stable time-resistant joint.
