The module (1) has an LED display (7), and control buttons (3-5) for control of a domestic installation, where the module is designed in a rectangular or square shape. Lateral slots (8, 8A, 8B) hold a disc-shaped battery. A notch is provided on a rear side of the module to remove the battery from the lateral slots using a removing unit i.e. ballpoint pen. The control buttons are designed in a rhombus-shape or truncated rhombus-shape. The lateral slots are arranged in a corner with equal-sized slots on two adjacent sides.
