PURPOSE: An air-conditioner is provided to quickly cool a wide range of indoor space in a cooling and blowing mode and discharge air only to the upper front side of the air-conditioner in an air cleaning mode. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner comprises a cabinet(20), a blower fan, a heat exchanger, a top cover, an upper air vent(100), and a top front door. The cabinet has air intake parts on both sides of the lower part and air discharge parts on both sides of the upper part thereof. The blower fan draws air in through the air intake parts and conducts the intake air to the upper side in the cabinet. The heat exchanger cools the air drawn in the cabinet to a set temperature. The top cover is installed in the upper side of the cabinet and allowed to open and close. The upper air vent is coupled to the upper side of the cabinet to be connected to the inside of the cabinet when opening the top cover. The top front door is installed on the front side of the upper air vent.
