PURPOSE: A book sterilizing method and a system thereof are provided to prevent damage to library materials and to efficiently sterilize books. CONSTITUTION: A book sterilizing system comprises an air sprayer(20), a sterilizing lamp(22), a controller(24), and a main body(28). The air sprayer is connected to a blower(10) and spreads inner sheets(18) of a book(14) by spraying air containing chemicals or air. The sterilizing lamp irradiates sterilization light towards a book inserted into a sterilizing chamber. The controller controls the operation of the blower, sterilizing lamp, and air sprayer. The main body has an operation panel(26) of the controller. The controller is connected a material recognizing device(30), a wire/wireless net work device(36), and an input/output unit(38). |
