PURPOSE: A liquid crystal apparatus and a method for driving the same are provided to drive data wirings by groups in order to minimize the heat emission of a driving circuit for driving each group. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of data wirings is respectively included in a plurality of data wiring groups. The data wirings are expanded along a column direction. A group driving part(333) corresponds to the data wiring groups. The group driving part responds to a group polarity controlling signal and a group horizontal dot inversion signal in order to convert image data into a data voltage. The group driving part includes a digital-to-analog converter part(334), an output buffer part(335), and a charge sharing part(336).
