PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for changing the viewing angle of a 3d road image in a vehicle navigation system are provided to enable a user to easily check the shape of front, left, or right roads. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for changing the viewing angle of a 3d road image in a vehicle navigation system comprises a storage unit(110), a display unit(130), a viewing angle adjusting unit(140), and a controller(120). The storage unit stores 3D road images. The display unit outputs the 3D road image. The viewing angle adjusting unit produces viewing angle information in order to change the viewing angle of the 3D road image. The controller controls the 3D road image to be outputted on the display unit according to the viewing angle information.
