PURPOSE: A telematics apparatus linked with a mobile terminal and a method for the same are provided to verify the state of a vehicle at a remote place using the mobile terminal of an user. CONSTITUTION: A communication modem(40) implements a gateway function between a mobile communication network and a telematics apparatus. A telematics driving part(50) outputs a controlling signal for controlling the function of a vehicle based on the input signal of an user and the state information of the vehicle. A system controlling part(60) controls the drive of components in the vehicle based on the controlling signal. |
