<p>Apparatus is provided, including a housing (32) reversibly couplable to a fluid-carrying tube (100a, 100b), the housing (32) defining a passage (22) for passage therethrough of fluid from the fluid-carrying tube (100a, 100b). A turbine (70) coupled to a magnet (72) is configured to turn responsively to the passage of fluid through the passage (22) of the housing (32). A sensor (86) is coupled to the housing (32) and has no parts that move as a result of a mechanical force applied thereto by the turbine (70). The sensor (86) is configured to quantify a parameter of the passage of the fluid through the passage (22) of the housing (32) by sensing changes in a proximity of the magnet (72) to the sensor (86) responsively to the movement of the turbine (70).
