A bumper reinforcement is provided with a front wall section, an upper wall section, and a lower wall section. The front wall section constitutes the front section of the bumper reinforcement. The upper wall section is connected to the upper end of the front wall section and constitutes the upper half of the rear section of the bumper reinforcement. The lower wall section is connected to the lower end of the front wall section and constitutes the lower half of the rear section of the bumper reinforcement. Outer beads are formed by denting the front wall section rearward and extend along the vehicle width direction. The upper wall section comprises a top wall section which constitutes the top section of the upper wall section. Upper beads are formed by denting the top wall section downward, and are disposed intermittently along the aforementioned width direction. Furthermore, the upper beads extend in the longitudinal direction. The lower wall section comprises a bottom wall section which constitutes the bottom section of the lower wall section. Lower beads are formed by denting the bottom wall section upward, and are disposed intermittently along the aforementioned width direction. Furthermore, the lower beads extend in the longitudinal direction.
