PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a light guide plate is provided to economically obtain a high quality light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A wasted material of a transparent resin light guide plate(1) is washed. Crushed materials are obtained by pulverizing the washed wasted material. An unused transparent resin and the crushed materials are mixed. The mixture is shaped in a plate shape.
