PURPOSE: A door cover locking apparatus of a washer is provided to be easily and manually operated by opening a door cover at the stoppage of electric current. CONSTITUTION: A key(2) of a locking device body(1) is inserted into a key locking hole or separated from the hole. The locking body is installed at a main body. The key locking hole is formed on a door cover, and a door lock cover is locked or released in a main body of a washing machine through the insertion or separation of the key. The key is connected to a key body(4), and the key body is supported by a spring(6) of a spring guide(5). The key body is connected to a cam(9).
